Cranberry orange rye

I am pretty sure every single recipe I’ve posted in the last week has involved cranberries. #sorrynotsorry. This one, is no different. Guess I’m a little crazy for those little tart bombs. If any of you followed me over at JellyBones, than you know my crazy totally healthy obsession with booze infusions. It’s actually been quite a while since I tried one. This year, I wanted to get a little Thanksgiving fancy. There’s still time to make this!

It’s no secret that I’m a helluvuh whiskey lover. #ilovewhiskey. #enoughwiththehashtags. I know it’s soooooooooo trendy, but my fave drink is definitely an old fashioned. My husband makes the best old fashioned I’ve ever had. I originally had the idea of using this booze in a few of those. But…….. I used good rye, and got gunshy, and didn’t make enough of this delicious stuff. Ah…… the pains of attempting your own recipes. The amount you see above…. that’s all I got. That’s it! So, if you make this (and you totally should!), make quite a bit more. You won’t be sorry.
