Excited to show you guys this little collaboration I did with O'Neill showcasing some of their new holiday collection. O'Neill exudes a California state of mind. I was born and raised in Southern California, so it felt right to shoot these images during a quick trip back home. Whenever I'm back in Cali, my bohemian 70's inner self comes out to play a whole lot more. Earthy patterns in rustic tones. Tie dye. Hippie crochet. I pile it all on. To the beach. For a bike ride. Sunbathing in the backyard. A hike up Runyon Canyon. Oh, how typically L.A. of me. It always feels so good and nostalgic to feel that Southern California sun on my skin whenever I get the chance. And especially during the wintertime. Sometimes I wonder why I ever left the west coast for the east coast in the first place. But only time will tell when it comes to what coast I'll be settling in say 5 years from now. California will always be in my heart, but it's been tugging at it harder than ever lately. Not really sure why (east coast winter perhaps?), but I'll let it tug for now until I completely give in.
