Floral Trouser Time

When I first envisioned styling these Boden trousers up, I was thinking pastel houses and sunny weather, however a freak hailstorm almost stopped these pictures from happening. There's nothing like a forced pit-stop in Holborn station to make you wish you were in the Caribbean. I guess that's just what Spring is about here, every so often we'll be treated to amazing sunshine in between grey, drizzly days and somehow our wardrobes have to make sense of this all. I find that trousers of the floral variety fit the bill well. It was such a big deal when I first started wearing them two years ago but now I've graduated to even more of a vibrant pair without blinking an eye.

I still need to do a post titled 'Return Of The Mac.' Seriously, whenever I bring this COS trench coat out, I know that it's not Arctic outside and it helps to add a bit of Scandi sophistication to something so colourful. I've now added a pastel beanie to my collection, which is a godsend when it's so windy and you're literally trying to keep your hair on. Don't worry, I will be trying to work out how to start knitting them soon (Lucy scolded me for shopping yet again) as I now want them in every colour under the sun and it could become an expensive habit. I'm also trying to break in my new metallic Hasbeens, which I got to choose at their new Boxpark pop-up. I always know that warmer temperatures are on the way when my sandals start to come out and now everyone's starting to make plans for festivals, street feasts and all the things that signal Summer. I'm so excited!
