People to follow on Instagram if you like your food

I'm getting into the foodie swing of things now with my monthly posts but I thought I'd share how I go about finding new places. There's no secret, it's mainly Instagram. I rarely give any of the places a negative review as its all been carefully researched to avoid any lacklustre dishes, I check out hashtags and geotags and usually the risk pays off. Now I have a list as long as my arm thanks to these people I've started following, they've made me want to try all sorts of things and trek to each corner of the capital. Am I the only one willing to queue for hours or head to the dodgiest places? These accounts are all London based but purely because it's too torturous to follow people on the other side of the world, knowing a visit is unlikely. It's also interesting to spot the trends emerging, especially when it comes to ramen. Behold my current feed recommedations, for a good feed.

@MONDOMULIA

Somehow Giulia seems to make every meal she has seem perfectly dreamy. Follow for perfect arrangements and coffee shots you won't get sick of.

@FEASTTOTHEWORLD

This account was responsible for our first visit to Bird a little while ago and provided a little memory jolt (there's so many places on my mental list). Jason posts pics of his own supperclub dishes as well as multiple fried chicken snaps.

@EATLOVENOODLES

You might be able to guess the niche for this feed, there's a helluva lot of noodles. Not that I'm complaining, there may be slightly less art direction but what you get is a good honest look at all those hard-to-find, authentic places.

@THECUTLERYCHRONICLES

I literally discovered this account by looking through the geotags when I went to Dishoom for their 50% off soft launch earlier this week (details here). Am I the only one who does this? It's a great way to see a visual representation of the menu and not only have I discovered a decent food blog but also a few recipes I'd like to try out.

@CLERKENWELLBOYEC1

You'll probably want to swap lives with Clerkenwell Boy, he seems to eat out every day in the most desirable places. Definitely adventurous, you'll have an insight into new openings and chains that are worth going to if you're stuck.

My list of places to eat in London is now ridiculously long and I've had to join a gym to balance out the expected feasting over the next few months. Hopefully this will be useful if you're hoping to visit London soon and need some guidance, or just love to be tortured by faraway food fodder. I'd love to know if you have any foodie recommendations wherever you're from, especially since I'm visiting Amsterdam next week!
