Modern Vintage in Manhattan.

Well, this is cool! A long time blog reader and Homepolish designer, Casey DeBois, contacted me about featuring this apartment on the blog. Alexis, her client, moved here several months ago from Miami, FL. The apartment is a landmark building which is rumored to have housed the Rolling Stones early in their careers. The hits Sympathy for the Devil and Paint it Black were supposedly penned within its walls. She sourced mostly vintage items – via 1st Dibs, Etsy, eBay, local stores like Furnish Green, Olde Good Things and Mill House Antiques. The interior was designed and curated specifically for the apartment and is Mid Century Modern/Hollywood Regency – Miami meets New York. Alexis is now moving out to LA for new opportunities and sadly the furniture is not going to work with the new space – they are doing as it is a more social beach house vibe. They are selling ALL of these amazing vintage pieces before the client moves!

I wouldn’t normally post something like this, but there is so much vintage goodness here that I think you readers would really like. That etagere! The Karl Springer-esque coffee table! That standing round mirror in the back! My fave! Barcart! (Is there anything that you guys like more than a bar cart?!) A Platner chair! Ridiculously cool art, Milo Baughman chairs galore! Go for it people.

Casey has listed all the furniture for sale HERE. All the furniture is in excellent condition. Local pick-up is preferred but they would be willing to ship it.
