Two days ago I noticed that my local drugstore updated their Catrice counter with a new collection called Revoltaire! I can’t really remember the last time I’ve been so interested in any Catrice collection and this really came as such surprise! I purchased few items and that way I said no to no-purchase-month, lol :D
Besides loving these products, I also fell for the design which is so wonderful! Okay, isn’t everything perfect – palette box seems a bit cheap but you can’t have it all, right? All in all, I’m liking this collection really much and I hope Catrice will be launching more collectrions like Revoltaire!
My favorite product from this collection is definitely this gorgeous blush which really reminds me of Estee Lauder Pure Color blush in Plush Petal. Unlike Plush Petal, which is matte, this one has this pearly shine and, well, it’s way cheaper than Plush Petal :D
As soon as I noticed this blush I decided to pick two of them just to be safe :D This is a lovely pechy blush which will give your cheeks a natural and lovely look. I’m not sure how noticeable it would be on some darker tones but I think it could be layered up. :)
On my photo below you can see how it looks when applied heavily (2-3 layers) and when it’s blended so it looks quite natural.
This collection includes three matte lipstick shades and I picked two of them – Colour Bomb and Bloody Red.
Bloody Red looks quite darker in the packaging while on skin/lips it looks like a pretty cool darker red shade. It’s highly pigmented and I hope it will be long-lasting.
Colour Bomb is a salmon shade leaning onto pink. It looks a bit neon in person.
Unfortunately, I haven’t swatched this palettes since my camera went dead by the time I got to swatching them but I will do that first thing in the morning! These palettes include three eyeshadow and one liner, just in case you wondered why is this darkest shade so poorly pigmented. You need a wet brush to get it pigmented, that’s all! :)
