I haven't had my own dedicated work space for a long time. Usually the kitchen table/sofa/coffee table is covered with books, notes and stationery until it's time for dinner when it all gets stacked in a pile on the floor ready for the next day. Strangely I hadn't even contemplated getting my own work desk until a couple of weeks ago, but now it's all I can think about & I well and truly have everything office related on my mind.
