StitchFix Haul: July Review

After visiting the StitchFix headquarters during the StitchFix Luna Vacay, I knew what I wanted in my next fix. I posted some of my favorites that I saw in the warehouse and HQ on my pinterest style board and crossed my fingers. What I got, was my favorite shipment to date. I love using this service because I do not have time to go shopping and my wardrobe consists of adidas black pants and workout tops. The style cards that are included with each box also help me put together outfits using what I already own.

My stylist, Lucy, who I met in San Francisco, sent me the hot pink top I wore in a bunch of the photos from the photoshoot at the HQ. I loved it on the West Coast and I’m still loving it now. It is called the Kassidy Open Lattice Detail Tank by Fun2Fun. I love the see-through midsection details. It’s like wearing a crop top without the insecurity.

I was also sent this Coco Swiss Dot Lattice Detail Blouse by 41Hawthorn, SitchFix’s own private label. It is feminne with tons of little detail that I love. I am a sucker for white tops because they go with all my fun colored bottoms. I can’t get enough white tops but sadly they do not look great in video so I don’t own too many. Don’t mind my wet hair, I was too lazy to blow it dry before taking the pictures because my apt has limited AC and it was HOT out.

The weather made wearing this sweater really fun for the photo opportunity. I instantly gushed over this light weight nautical long sleeve sweater. This THML Tiller Sailboat Sweater is perfect for summer evening in New England. It already goes with most of my wardrobe already. In fact, I wore it to a party during the 4th of July weekend. It was an easy keeper. The ribbing underneath is my bra… which I know you ladies know.

I spotted this Fit & Flare Dress by Pomelo while at the “Hizzy” aka warehouse. I thought it looked cute on the rack and was impressed at how well it fit my body. The belt flatters my waist and the top is not too tight on my chest. The length is office appropriate but also cute enough to wear out on a date.

My 5th item was a set of earrings that I badly wanted after seeing them right off of the delivery truck. The Pixley Kiera Nautical Stud set can be seen in the middle picture below on the right hand side. I put in the starfish pair right away and have not taken them out. For $34 (plus 25% off), they are my favorite StitchFix buy yet. Most of my good earrings were stolen when I left my backpack on a train in Europe (which I got back thanks to Ashley - sans 2 cameras, jewelry and crappy street candy from Paris), so I’ve been looking to replace my casual studs ever since.

You can see above, a few of the other items I liked at the HQ. I requested the jacket in the picture top left and cross body tan bag in the middle left for my next fix. They stylists love when you specifically ask for items because it makes their job easier and you are a happy shopper.

Try StitchFix yourself and see what all the fuss is about. If you do not want to keep all five items, you do not have to. You send back what you don’t like in a prepaid return shipping bag. If you keep all 5 items, you get an additional 25% off, which is what happened to me above!
