Poor & Pretty 4.0: Logo & Site Redesign Sneak Peek

I have a big, big announcement! For my birthday, Stan is gifting me a newly-designed and updated website! We’ve been working on it for months, and it’s just about ready to launch. Before it does this weekend, I wanted to share with you some of the inspiration behind the new look and the new logo I designed:

Okay, this makes it look way more colorful than it actually is. It’s really much more subdued than the current look, with lots of clean white space and pops of color here and there. It is very round, though. When I created the design mockups, I drew inspiration from lots of colorful circular things like confetti, my favorite sugarplum USA pom-pom skirt, my DIY confetti wall, and the yarn pom-pom garland I recently made for our living room.

What do you think of the new logo? As much as I love the logo Sean Adams designed (it was very, very hard to let it go!), Poor & Pretty needed something new. I wanted it to feel more handmade, less refined, less colorful, more simple.
