WEEKLY ROUND-UP: volume four.

Well, this was a fairly stressful week that I honestly just wanted to get through. Thankfully, the week was still filled with some really beautiful & exciting moments. Now that it's Sunday, I can stop and appreciate these lovely things a little more...

Onto a #regram (don't kill me, I swear I won't start putting hashtags in my blog posts!) from Southern Living Magazine editor-at-large Kimberly Whitman. I'm a huge fan of Southern Living, and I love that Kimberly's rocking my jewelry. I'm happy to report that she's an all-around lovely person with tons of southern charm.

Here are some of the minerals I was working with this week. The white stones are breakable geodes. You hit the geodes with a hammer and crack them open. It's what's inside that counts, right? In this case, some gorgeous crystals were revealed.

And thankfully they were gorgeous, because I had an order for this white geode ring! I made it out of one of the stones shown above. I hope the customer loves it as much as I do.

I legit screamed when I saw this in the Etsy newsletter. I had no idea that I was going to be featured. It happened shortly before I had my girlfriends over for wine and calzones (we are gluttons) so it was celebrated accordingly.

The reality of taking blog photos. It's so awkward and there are so many ridiculous outtakes. About four or five good samaritans stopped to tell us that we were standing near poison ivy. Oh, the glamour!!
