Couture for a Cure

As mentioned in Wednesday's post, I spent an evening last week in Grand Rapids for Couture For a Cure, an annual fashion show presented by the Van Andel Institute where proceeds benefit children with rare diseases. One word describes it: fabulous. I particularly enjoyed the food, Artistry makeup artists, observing the well dressed women and hearing Carol Van Andel speak about the purpose of the event. I'm usually cynical about anything and everything, and this was just such a beautiful event with a purpose, which Carol Van Andel expressed so articulately. I couldn't help but be inspired.

This lovely lady cascading down the runway is Blair of Love, Blair, a blogger I obsess over, she's such a beauty!

I ate so many treats, especially the cream puffs. Oh the cream puffs.
