The Daily

Lately I have been…

binge watching the Kardashians. I know they get a lot of hate for being famous for nothing, but I find them to be a really funny and caring family. Who knew??

figuring out how to balance everything I want to do for my business. I’ve got a couple more ideas up my sleeves and I’m trying to make space in my schedule to cram in more projects, but I can also feel myself close to overwhelm. Finding ways to simplify and automate things so there’s more space in my day and in my mind by being super conscious of where I spend my time. If I’m Pinteresting or watching TV it’s for a break and not for procrastination.

staring at my incredibly messy house and not lifting a finger to clean. There is junk on every surface, clean towels in the dryer for days, my couch is covered in dog hair (ok, couch has been vacuumed), and my floors desperately need to be washed. Cleaning any of it can’t seem to move from the bottom of my priority list. #thingsthathappenwhenyouworkforyourself

rehearsing for an International Women’s Day show (last Sat at our studio). I have so much on my plate that I didn’t intend to stay for the whole thing, but after 12 traditional Mexican dancers started stomping, spinning, and clapping to the music I was mesmerized. The show also included a Scottish Highland Fling, Polynesian dancers, a Korean drum choir, Flamenco, ballet, and belly dance. I was truly impressed by the talent and how the love of their craft showed through their movement, so I stayed to watch the entire thing.

feeling super giddy and blown away by my own online communities! I couldn’t have asked for a better group of women to start with. They’ve been working so hard and I love chatting with them every week and seeing their blogs transform. (If you’re interested in joining the next session sign up for the mailing list here)
