New Bourjois Beauty Bits

Since I touched on the new Bourjois Nail products I thought we would have a quick look at their makeup product which have recently launched.

Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream and Concealer- I'm not a CC Cream kinda gal, I need full coverage. I tucked this product into an acrylic draw and forgot about it until I decided to give it a go as a primer. Since then I have fallen for it, it works beautifully as a primer under a light/medium coverage foundation as it gives a radiant flawless finish. What's most shocking is I've even been wearing them alone with no foundation and felt super comfortable in them. I wear foundation to hide the redness in my skin and this does it do beautifully without masking everything else. (I use shade 33 in the CC Cream)

Bourjois Happy Light Primers- These have been out for a little while now but I still haven't got too attached. They come in a matte and a luminous version and although they are nice I wouldn't say either makes a huge difference to my skin.

Bourjois MegaLiner- This is the first (I think) angled liquid liner I have tried and although I think it's a nice idea I find it a little trickier to trace a line on to my eyelid. That said it makes the flick much easier and since that is always the hardest part I actually quite like this product. The best thing about it however is that it is very black and lasts all day which is something very few eyeliners are able to do on me.

Bourjois Volume 1 Seconde Mascara- Inspired by the traditional hair round brushes this mascara wand is quite a thick one. It deliver clump-free, intensely black, volumised lashes, quickly but it does take a fair bit longer than a second. I quite like Bourjois mascara's but think this could be one of the best and although the brush is quite big I think it works particularly well on the bottom lashes.
Bourjous Rouge Edition Velvet- I have four of these new Velvet/Matte Finish liquid Lipsticks, the pigmentation is amazing and they have some beautiful vivid colours and last really long but theres something about them that has caused me not to reach for them. Matte lip colours have been notoriously difficult for me but these apply patchy, are a little drying and have a horrible scent which reminds me of sticky tape. That said I know a lot of people love them but they're simply not for me.

Bourjois still remains one of my favourite drugstore brands but I would love to know what you love from them in the comments. Have you tried any of the products I have mentioned?

Bourjois is available in Boots, Superdrugs and online on ASOS.
