Sparkle Girlz - The Dolls

Sparkle Girlz playscale size dolls, minis, and boxed fashion
I found the Sparkle Girlz dolls at a different Walmart and purchased the three shown above along with two minis and a boxed fashion. I wanted the boxed fashion for the crop denim jacket since it is not sold as a separate.

The dolls have two complexions, medium and dark. If their heads and bodies were proportional and if there was articulation, they'd be perfect. But perfection would cost more than $4.97.

The Keepers

These are the two I plan to keep. My niece will receive the other medium complexioned doll dressed in the lavender dress along with the two minis and the other duplicates of fashions I wrote about previously.

The doll on the right is dressed in the denim jacket fashion without the jacket.
I opened the boxed fashion to try the plaid pants and denim jacket on my doll with the deepest complexion. Before adding the jacket, "she" allowed her sister to try it on to see how well, if at all, it works with her denim skirted dress.

Denim jacket can be paired with other fashions.
The denim jacket with the skirted denim dress is an okay look, but the skirt of the dress is trimmed in pink stitches and the jacket has a white-stitch trime resulting in a not so perfect match in my opinion.

The doll on the right now wears her denim jacket and has added her silver shoulder bag.
The dolls I purchased all have black rooted hair that is straight. It is either styled in a ponytail or allowed to hang loose. Some shedding occurred after I removed the dolls from their cones, but once I pulled all loose ends out, that took care of that issue. I took one final photograph from the back to illustrate the hair length.
