Clever Kid’s Room Storage

By Si Mazouz

Summer break is almost over, and we’re all getting ready to prepare for the frenzy of going back to school time. Before we fill the backpacks, we also want to organize the kiddos rooms so the toys are neatly stored and the rooms uncluttered. Here are a few cool storage ideas for your little one’s room.

Store all your little one’s collected treasures in a simple wall shelf. To add some spark, wallpaper the back of the storage piece with mixed and match colorful wallpaper or gift-wrapping paper leftovers.

A similar idea is to recycle some old wooden crates or make some boxes and attach them on the wall.

Whether you prefer to paint the back or glue some pretty wallpaper, it will add some color and fun detail to the room. Find these images (clockwise) via Varpunen, A Merry Mishap, and The Guardian.

For a little one, how about making a storage tree? We’re loving this simple and very clever DIY idea.

In need of an extra book storage option? 101 Woonideeen offers a free step-by-step tutorial to make this super cute cloud storage book piece.

What a neat idea! This raised platform offers extra storage space and doubles as a hidden playhouse.

Happy organizing everyone!
