Celebrate In Style

This past week, I attended InStyle Magazine's Celebrate in Style event, co-hosted by Single Edition Media at the Glasshouses in Chelsea, NYC (incredible view!). You might have seen me tweeting throughout the night. Dozens of bloggers and media influencers were gathered to see a bunch of amazing brands. It's been awhile since I attended an event, and it was definitely the break I needed - it was so much fun!
Guests enjoyed delicious Flight Song wine and Skinny Girl sparkling waters, and yummy candies from Sugar Wish (we were allowed to choose from 3 options, and of course, I went with the sour patch watermelon ones). Gardein provided the mouth watering appetizers, and I had no idea that they were even meatless! Usually, it tastes a bit like paper, or even bland, but these were so satisfying - especially since I love eating meat.

Elizabeth Arden had the prettiest booth, giving the ladies lip touch ups and a chance to take a whiff of their new fragrances. Both Red Door and Untold were featured, with an upgraded version of each for the modern woman today, using a few new notes. It was so nice to see the classic scents with the modern scents - all smelling absolutely beautiful.

Read on to see more from the event!

Jergens is introducing BB cream -- for the body! It comes in two shades, one that veers towards lighter skin shades and the other towards darker shades. The tint doesn't come off on clothing and unlike the BB cream for the face, either shade will blend naturally on any woman, making it easy to apply without worrying about it not matching. It's perfect to switch it up, depending on the season.
As for the fashion -- Sears Style was there with an updated look to their brand, with some pieces now in stores. So perfect from night to day. (A separate post to come, with more info about their The New Metaphor collection.) Guests had the chance to Instagram fave Sears looks, and win a fun prize in their custom vending machine.
Vigoss was there as well - still one of my favorite denim lines, which I posted about here and here. So happy that we got to walk away with either their signature blue jeans, or amazing faux leather pants (which I totally went for!). I still have my Vigoss pair - fits true to size, and is still lasting me for the past few years now.

DSW was there with stunning accessories like bejeweled beanies, glammed out clutches, and sparkling jewelry. We were able to use them as props for the DSW photo booth.I chose the Fedora hat, shown below.
There were so many other great brands that night including Bulova, Tagspire, Silkn Solution, Etienne Aigner, Alassis Candles, Rap Protein Gummies, Beautiful Textures, and Balsam Hill.

It was great bumping into familiar faces and catching up with everyone, and even meeting a few new friends.
