Vanity Project

As i’ve been telling you over the course of the past few weeks, i am in full-on organisational mode and have tidied so many cupboards and drawers in our house i’ve lost count. That includes my dressing table which has been a bit of a bone of contention with The Captain and i for a looong time. I’m a clutterbug and need stuff around me and although i tried a big sort of the drawers a couple of months ago, things were soon chaotic again – driving Mr Tidy Pants mad.

So this is what i did a month or so ago – and in my mind i felt super sorted!! I divided different cosmetics categories and had them stored in glass squares which i bought at Kenly Flowers years ago.

And then, Delaney from The Beauty Box asked if i wanted to review one of her beautiful Perspex vanity and cosmetics organisers so naturally i jumped at the opportunity. A chance to go from semi to super organised!!

The process forced me to chuck out all the cosmetics i’m not using anymore and from there it was simply a manner of sorting and popping like with like. I had the tube already for all of my earrings and the mirror jewellery box is for the rest of my jewels.

Delaney sent me the 3 Drawer Acrylic Organiser as well as a lipstick caddy, a box for brushes and a caddy for nail polishes

I love my new Beauty Box and love that i can find everything i need so easily, that’s it’s elegant and tidy and that everything seems to be staying that way which i admit is pretty miraculous given my usual descent into messiness.
