Changes Afoot

Good morning lovelies! I wanted to touch base with you before The Poppet arrives and to let you know what will be happening on the blog. So, she comes on the 14th which is this coming Monday and while i will be knee deep in nappies, i won’t be disappearing. I’ve pre-blogged posts for you (the usual one or two a day) as well as a giveaway or two and i’m also lucky enough to be bringing two fabulous peeps on board to help keep the I Want That home fires burning.

The first is Mandy Allen who i’ve introduced to you before – Mandy is a design journo of note and she’s also got a great eye for kids stuff. The second gal is Kim Bougaardt – Kim is also a design savvy writer and stylist and she also has a keen eye for wedding trends and style. So we’ll be in good hands! I’ve worked with both Mandy and Kim for many years and i know you’ll love the things they find and the trends and news they’ll be sharing.

Next on the agenda is that in the next few weeks there’ll be a new (ish) look and feel introduced to the blog. That’s because i’ll be amalgamating I Want That and I Want That Wedding onto one platform and also introducing I Want That Kids to the mix. The same amount of decor and lifestyle posts will happen – there’ll just be more posts in the form of kids-focused and wedding-focused fare too. It’s a move i’ve been planning for months and i think it’s right for the times – people are more and more strapped for time and now they don’t have to move off one platform to read about weddings and kids stuff but they won’t be missing out on the usual I Want That lifestyle and interiors stuff stuff too.

So that’s where things are for now – i’m looking forward to hearing your feedback about the extra content and of course i can’t wait to introduce you to The Poppet!
