Thanks to designers like Marc Jacobs and Givenchy making their own version, Birkenstock has once again stepped into the limelight. Some have even called it summer’s must-have shoe. Especially popular is the double-strap Arizona Birkenstocks in black and white. Classic colours that can be dressed up or down to keep the outfit looking chic. In 2014 the way to wear your Birkenstocks is with tailored or elegant clothing, paired with a skinny jeans or anything ankle grazing, floaty dresses or dressy shorts, for a look that’s sophisticated, minimalistic and comfortable.
