{DIY} 60 Second Pen Holder Update

Ever since going freelance and spending the majority of my time in my home office, I've been having a lot of fun doing little updates and transforming my space into a place I actually look forward to working in each day... work pretty, as Stephanie Sterjovsky would say. So when it came time to organize some go-to supplies (you don't even want to see my drawer situation), I thought it would be fun to glam up a basic drinking glass to house my monochrome pens (I'm crazy, I know). Sometimes decorating a space can seem like a daunting, bank-breaking exercise, but I'm here to tell you that it certainly doesn't have to be... and this project is proof of that. So grab your tape ladies, and let's get to sprucing!

SUPPLIES: CLEAR GLASS (I GOT MINE AT SUPERSTORE FOR $1) | 1.88" DUCK TAPE | SCISSORS
TIME: 1 MINUTE | DIFFICULTY LEVEL: SO EASY IT DOESN'T EVEN REGISTER
This one's too easy to even justify written instructions, but here goes: Add tape to the top end of your glass, smoothing out any ridges. Cut off excess. Get on with the rest of your life (see, I told you).

I hope this ridiculously easy (and affordable!) project inspires you to look at your everyday bits and bobs a little differently, because everything (and I do mean everything) is a DIY project waiting to happen... Happy upgrading! xx
