NYFW: Badgley Mischka Spring 2015 RTW

Badgley Mischka's collection was like a breath of fresh air for me. I have been unimpressed with many of the spring fashion that has debuted on the runways. One of the reasons for my frustration is the fact that some of the designers seem to be heavily influenced by menswear. Tees, flowy blouses and boyfriend jeans have a naturally loose fit that look good on a lot of women. But overly baggy tops and bottoms have made it's way into many of the collections this time around. Why is the world telling us to dress more like men? They're obviously confused. On a better note, the Badgley Mischka collection is a wonderful mix of modern simplicity and elegance. I love the soft neutral colors and how many of the pieces are actually wearable. There are also several lovely dresses with such unique floral designs. The white and lilac number is my favorite dress from the collection. Aren't the cascading petals such a great feature?

Which collections have you seen and admired? Please inform me :)
