Weekend Delights Vol. 8

It's officially the last day of October! Don't forget to set your clocks an hour back on Sunday, November 2nd! How many of you wish we didn't have to adjust our clocks twice a year? I sure do! The best way to remember whether we're setting it backward or forward is with this little phrase my mom taught me: Fall backward, Spring forward. Makes sense, right?

Raising Ala has a list of the chicest and cutest DIY pumpkins! I thought these little donut pumpkins were adorable! If you're wanting to do something different with your pumpkins but are lacking the inspiration, you'll definitely find some great ideas on this website!

I saw this on Pinterest and had a laugh but also completely agree with it! Ladies, don't leave your bag on the floor no matter how clean it looks! There are tons of nasty germs everywhere we walk and you'll just be bringing those germs back home with you wherever you place your bag. Hang it or place it on a chair! I myself prefer to hang it if doable.

This website lists the many reasons you should have a "No-Shoe Policy at Home". My husband and I have been doing this for a few years now and it really does help to keep your floors cleaner. We have wood floors which makes it easier but if you have carpet you'll be able to see the difference even more. I know people who practice this guideline at their own homes and the carpet still looks like new! If you want to start doing this yourself give your wood floor or carpet a good cleaning and begin! It's never too late.
