Wet Seal top, H&M leggings, Birkenstock sandals. What I am about to reveal may shock you. Ready? Here it goes...
This is the first time I've worn an animal print top. *imagines all of you gasping for air right now* I understand and respect its place in fashion. I'm not a fan of animal print on me because it usually looks too overpowering or tacky.
Then came Zoo-Tronic. It's a local EDM festival with an animal theme. Since I was not going to wear a tutu or crazy head piece, the least I could do was wear leopard print. I found this gem at Wet Seal in Clovis. I tried it on two separate times before I convinced myself it was the one. What sold me? The shape and color. It's flowy with a high-low hemline and golden brown hues to warm my skin tone. I finally wore animal print; animal print did not wear me.
I don't know if I will ever buy another leopard print top. I'll leave that fate to the fashion gods. However, I do know one thing: On the night I pumped my hands in the air to dance music, I appreciated the popular print a little bit more.
