A pretty maxi which fits you just right is never easy to find. I’ve always struggled with those noodle strap maxis with ill-fitting silhouettes and lengths. Lets not forget the added woes of getting it altered to my size. But I'm glad a casual browse through
The Closet Label seems to have solved all my troubles. I’ve finally found the
perfect maxi dress one that fits and shapes my body type perfectly. The silhouette skillfully hides my problem areas and subtly accentuates my curves. The soft jersey fabric keeps it casual enough for the day and the rust hue keeps it perfectly chic for an evening wear as well.

Petite shapes: Look for empire cuts and create an illusion of height even with flats. Stick to smaller prints and bright colours and avoid large prints that could overwhelm your frame. A dress like
this would perfect for your shape.
Pear Shape: Accentuate your upper body and conceal your problem areas (your lower half). A
halter neck dress and flows through the rest of your silhouette is great for your shape.
Hourglass: Pick a cinched waist dress to show off your curves. You can go for something that I am wearing above or
this one.
Athletic shape: Go for a fitted column dress that will suit your lean shape. I'm loving
this one. Wear it with a light jacket or throw on your favourite shirt and wear it like a skirt.
