Cape on the town

I love to complicate a simple outfit and that's I guess a big part of my personal style. While some like keeping it clean, I like to add a fun mix of elements to my looks. In this post I explore one of my recent favourites - the cape. This I prefer over a jacket for obvious weather reasons and also for the comfort factor.

A mix of some of the oldest possible things in the wardrobe, this post is part nostalgia and part an experiment to fit into older clothes.
The thing about capes:
- A versatile piece of clothing, throw it on with anything you wear like a dress, a pair of jeggings, wide leg pants and more. - Body shape no bar! Fits and sizes mean nothing to the forgiving cape. So pile on, mix and match and have all the fun you want. - Dress me up or dress me down - imagine the same old pair of jeans and a tee combo being taken to a whole new level with the addition of a cape. You can then take this look to brunch, a movie date or even a glass of wine (or three) with friends. - And the finale: A fashion statement that never goes out of style because we are all about timeless ideas.
This is what I wore for a quick lunch at Pizza Express
