I can’t be in denial any longer; the cold weather really is here to stay (probably for the next 6 months, ugh!). As an early weekend treat, how would you like to a chance to save your skin from drying out this winter? The cold weather brings me eczema flare-ups. Oh yes, the itchy, burning, cracked skin has started. But on days that I get really bad eczema on my hands, I apply Aquaphor Healing Ointment and put on my cotton gloves before bed to calm my flare-ups. I just have to say: it works. I really love this balm’s thick texture and the fact that it’s fragrance-free, making it excellent for my sensitive skin during this rough, dry and cold season.

Also, the tiniest bit on my itchy shins make me stop from scratching them and avoid scuffed up skin (ouch!). I love wearing tights to stay warm but comfy on cold days, but some of them can be sooo irritating! I like to “spike” my regular lotion with the Healing Ointment for that extra dose of protection!
