Tie Dye Part II

Here they are!

We pulled off the bands, rinsed them, then hung them out for me to snap photos. They're currently in the washing machine, having the remaining excess dye removed. :o)

The front of Lil's.

Front of Bean's.

I'm going to have the happiest, hippiest kitchen around! ;o)

Those two at the top were supposed to be hearts as well. Eh. Whatevs. ;o)

Double spiral.

The girls and I did this one last. I can't even tell you what we did...

I LOVED this tie dye kit and would recommend it to anyone! The colors are vibrant and intense, and even though we only had the primary colors, you can see we have loads of secondary colors. :o)

Guess what I forgot to do before rinsing...

Oops! ;o)

Sparklies:

1. We had another rainy day to contend with this morning. In desperation (I had four little girls to keep entertained!), I came up with stained glass windows.

Lil found an image she liked and traced it on waxed paper.

(Ellie just colored.)

We taped the paper to the window--black Sharpie side down--and colored.

Ta da! I think I love it. :o)

2. Lil has been begging me to purchase bubble gum.
I caved.

Oh my!

And, I'm the reason we can't have nice things...

(Jess, recognize that face? I looked at it and saw Papa immediately. I had no idea I made this face just like his.)

I gave Lil some pointers and she got into the spirit of things.

Hooray!!

3. Our tie dye is done!

4. A nice crafty kind of day.

No milestones.
