What I Wore | Zooey Deschanel Inspired + Borghese Giveaway

Hello lovelies! How are y'all doing? I've spent my day replying to some blog emails; watching some YouTube videos; putting away my clothes; listening to She & Him's newest album, Classic (which was released today); and right now I'm baking Christmas sugar cookies (In fact, the dough is resting in the fridge right now).

How about you? What did y'all do today?
What I'm Wearing Polka-Dot Shirtdress -- Old Navy ($16.47) Tights -- JCP ($4) Boots -- JustFab ($34) Faux-Pearl Earrings -- Forever 21 (Free)
Red Belt -- Target ($4) Fox Ring -- c/o OASAP Lipstick -- Tarte Amazonian Butter Lipstick in Watermelon ($6) EyeShadow -- c/o Borghese
I'm kinda channeling my inner Zooey Deschanel or Jess from New Girl with today's outfit. Which is kinda fitting since, She & Him's newest album, Classic came out today, so it is fitting that I was inspired by Zooey today. Why does this outfit remind me of her? Well, the dress is in a 1970s shirtdress style, and it is in a polka-dot print. Also my hair and makeup kinda reminded me of her too.

I'm excited to announce that I'm going to be including a giveaway in today's outfit post. Last month Borghese sent me their entire new line for the holidays: Eclissare, along with doubles to share with y'all! Today I'm going to be giving away my favorite palette from their collection: Eclissare Color Eclipse Shadow and Light Luminous Eye Palette ($55), which is kinda like a mix between Urban Decay's NAKED 1 & 2 palette.

The shadows are soft, buttery, pigmented, and go on with ease on the eyelids. When ever I'm not working at Ulta Beauty, I find myself grabbing this eyeshadow palette, that is saying something since I always go for either my LORAC Pro Palette or Urban Decay NAKED palette's when doing eye makeup. Of course, they are best used with an eye-primer underneath or concealer/foundation.

My favorite shadows are the following: Afterglow, Pulse, Veil, Ascend, Impact, and Downfall so far. In today's eye makeup look I'm wearing the following shadows: Veil in the crease (with a touch of Downfall at the outer crease), Pulse all over the lid, and Downfall at the outer corner blended out.
