where flowers bloom

last week i was in copenhagen to take part in a wonderful flower styling workshop at the vipp flagship store along with bloggers from some of my favourite european design and lifestyle sites, including april and may, food stories, nordic leaves, coco lapine design and that nordic feeling (check them out, so much inspiration!)

it was my first time visiting the city, so i was delighted to be invited for such a special event hosted by a brand which has such rich heritage in denmark and celebrating it’s 75th anniversary this year. the workshop was taught by danish florist louise moestrup, who has an incredibly infectious love for all things floral. she challenged us to create two very different flower arrangements; a beautiful uniform flower ball which required plenty of patience and precision, and a more freestyle design which required far more creative flair!

after we had honed our new-found floristry skills vipp challenged us to take advantage of their wonderful showroom set-up and create some flower-power vignettes in their stylish kitchen and bathroom installations. working with elisabeth heier and anna leena leeino, i am so happy with the stark stylish visuals we created in such a quick timeframe! you can see my favourite shot above (lead image of this post), and our other two creations below:

all the beautiful styled shots the different teams created on the day can be seen over on vippdotcom‘s instagram where you can vote for your favorite image – if you’d like to give one of my team’s images a “like” i’d be most grateful!

here are a few of my other favourite stylings from this wonderful event:
