Perfect Pair: L’Oreal Liya’s Nude & OPI Push & Shove

Every time I wear a polish that falls in the nude(like) category I end up adding something to my manicure. No matter how pretty the polish is I am deathly bored of it within hours.

L’Oreal Liya’s Nude was no exception. While I do love the color of that polish it was just a bit safe for my liking. That being said, I didn’t want to add anything too crazy to the manicure. The solution: metallic polka dots.

Not long ago I did a gold polka dot fade manicure that I really loved. So instead of doing normal polka dots I mimicked that manicure with different colors.

Of course I used L’Oreal Liya’s Nude as a base. Then using different size dotting tools (all DIY’d, btw!) I added polka dots with OPI Push & Shove.

I love the way this manicure turned out. It was a fun Saturday manicure!

As always, there are swatches under the jump!
