Barielle Expressive

Not the worst thing that can happen, of course, but I’m still not thrilled with the situation. I filed all my nails to the length of the broken nail and I’m rolling with it. I thought this would be a good opportunity to use a more subtle nail polish. Enter, Barielle Expressive.

I’ve had this polish for awhile it’s just not a shade I normally reach for. But after using it I’m thinking I need to change that!

Expressive is a purple leaning soft pink creme. With my skintone this looks almost nude. It’s a super flattering color on me. It makes my fingers look longer which is helpful since my nails are super short right now.

The formula is what I have come to expect from Barielle; wonderful. I used two coats in my swatches.

While I likely wouldn’t have picked this nail polish out on my own I am so happy to have it in my collection. It’s amazing the polish colors I overlook.
