Barielle Taupe Notch

While I love Barielle polishes I don’t expect super clever from Barielle. But Taupe Notch totally makes me laugh.

Anyway! Barielle has a new collection out for fall 2014. It is called Me Couture and contains 6 polishes that are a combination of retro and intense shades to compliment current styles and trends.

Taupe Notch is a dark taupe creme. I love the brown undertones in this polish. While the brown isn’t prevalent it’s not overwhelming. So the polish never looks muddy.

A polish like Taupe Notch is a great alternative for those of you who aren’t sold on the brown polish trend.

The formula is lovely. I used two coats in my swatches. And as with all Barielle polishes, Taupe Notch is 5 free and not tested on animals (meow).

Because I broke one of my nails last week I’ve been using Barielle Fortifying Nail Builder Base Coat and for a top coat I used Barielle No Chip Speed Dry top coat.

Taupe Notch is available on Barielle’s website and retails for $8.

Make sure to check out the swatches under the jump and keep your eyes open for my review of the rest of the polishes from the Me Couture collection!
