Perfect Pair: Barielle Moda Bleu & Deborah Lippmann Va Va Voom (The Daily Varnish)

You’d think by now I’d be tired of Deborah Lippmann Va Va Voom. I use it all the time. But, alas, I still love it as much as the first time I used it. Perhaps it’s true nail polish love!

Anyway. Last weekend when Auburn played LSU it was the annual All Auburn All Orange game. I didn’t go to the game but did attend the local Charlotte Auburn Club watch party. Since I was going to be wearing an orange dress I decided to go with blue nails.

I was already wearing Barielle Moda Bleu (which I love and will doing a full review on next week). I topped Moda Bleu with 2 coats of Va Va Voom. The result was lovely. One of the reasons I love Va Va Voom so much is that it makes navy polishes look very blue. Alone they can often look black in dim lighting. Va Va Voom fixes that problem.

In case you were wondering Auburn did win the game. Hopefully today’s game against Mississippi State will yield the same result!
