Laura Mercier Artist Palette 2: Swatches and Review

Last year, Laura Mercier released an Artist Palette which I passed on. I always had lingering regrets, but this year brought a brand new Artist Palette.

The deep brown pebbled exterior opens to reveal a range of purple and brown colors.

The textures vary- matte, satin, and shimmer are all here. This palette also includes a nice mix of warm and cool tones.

Sparkling Dew is a satin off white. Guava is a pale pink stain. African Violet is a warm purple with golden shimmer- really stunning! Plum Smoke is a greyed matte lavender. Kir Royal is a satin textured warm medium purple. Violet Ink is a cool toned matte deep purple.

Vanilla Nuts (worst name ever) is a matte white. Primrose is a golden peach satin. Fresco is a matte light nude brown with a hint of pink. Bamboo is a shimmering beige taupe. Truffle is a matte warm medium brown. Espresso Bean is a deep cool brown with a matte texture.

Overall the Artist Palette has great textures, a lovely range of shades, and good color payoff. The mattes are especially soft and buttery. This palette is a winner!
