Transitional Work Wear

I work in a business casual environment so luckily have a lot of freedom when it comes to what I wear to the office. As we slowly transition into a new season, I like to mix and match summer-y pieces with items that will transition well into fall.
This time of year I don't let myself purchase anything that's a summer-only item, unless it's mega on sale and I love it and think I'll want it for next summer. But otherwise, I tend to limit myself to items that will work for now but will also work for fall & winter. And realistically, we're less than a month away until I'll be back in tights & sweaters - so weird to think, but it happens here super quickly once September rolls around!
These outfits are both summer day-appropriate but will also transition into cooler days and are both outfits I would 100% wear to work. That perfect little black skater skirt is on my fall "to-buy" list as it's an absolute staple and I've also ordered the ankle strap pumps in black which will hopefully arrive soon! Love them!
