DIY: Marbled clay ring dish

I spent about twenty minutes making these beautiful ring dishes earlier today. I found the tutorial on Pinterest and since I already had some clay at home I just couldn’t resist trying to make my own. I wanted a darker and much more colorful look than the originals, so I used a different mix of colors than instructed. I also wanted them to have cool and rougher edges. I’m very happy with the result and it will be so fun to get some color into our dull bathroom.

Want to make your own ring dish? Here’s what you need:

– white, black, and colored oven bake clay
– plastic clay knife
– small bowl that is oven safe
– Gold marker
– rolling pin or large round jar
– large can or jar to trace around
