20 weeks | ?!?!

Half way. Half way plus 4 days, so half way minus 4 days until we’re all the way. In other words: WHAT. I know I’ve been pregnant for 5 months, but the past week or so it’s really sunk in. It’s time to start doing things to prepare for this tiny guy who will eventually come out and rock our world. All of us. Let’s get him some clothes and a place to sleep and junk, right? Or at least start seriously considering it.

Harper is very in to hugging the baby. The other day I told her the baby has ears and can actually hear so she could start talking to it, singing, etc. She immediately began making cross-eyed crazy faces into my belly button. It was so funny I could barely tell her that he can’t actually see, just hear. She replied by telling me he probably can see, but only the inside of my belly. We then agreed that was probably gross.

It’s officially past time to get myself some maternity clothes. No one, and I mean no one, needs to hear or see my sweaty pregnant tantrums in front of the closet trying to fit in to any more of these regular clothes. Point me towards the best ever maternity leggings and I will go there. I also plan on living in maxi dresses for the duration of this pregnancy. Thus, I must procure some. Advice welcome!

The weather in the PNW killed it this weekend. Obviously, this is our first Spring in our new house and the backyard is officially murdering me with awesome. Things blooming, the sun shining in all the right spots (wait until you see some more of the photos from Easter – I’ll share tomorrow – the golden hour is golden as f*ck up in here), basically if I could I would just roll around in it and embarrass myself in front of the neighbors. If I could roll?

Hope you all had a fabulous weekend/Easter. We aren’t religious so it involved a lot of ham and Reeses eggs. In other words, glorious.
