kurokawa revisited

After I finished my final day of work for the year (well, it was technically a half-day as I was allowed to finish at lunch time) all four of us got into a rental car and headed to Kurokawa onsen town in Kumamoto. Amazing onsen and amazing food go hand-in-hand, and Kurokawa is one of the most magical little towns I've visited in Japan. It was the second time visit for Kam and I, but we were more than happy to return to share the experience with our friends from abroad.
Poor Isabel fainted a little after her first onsen dip, but she recovered well and got back on the horse (or into the bath...) within no time!
