Boulevard of Chic III @ Baltimore Inner Harbor, Pierce’s Park

From À LA MODEST :: Conservative Indie Fashion Style Blogger

With jewelry designer and event coordinator Alyssa Luberto of Ability by Alyssa

I am wearing a faux white collar over a plain black sweater and F21 black band jacket. I paired this with a high waist vintage checkered three button skirt with black tights and boots from Boohoo. I’ve been loving the school girl look lately! Thanks to Kesha for snapping these pics of me!

I took a few photos of the very cool Kesha Abigail from Styled By Kesha. I have more to send her, so she can post on her blog!

I didn’t get the name of the masked artist doing all the artwork you see below. If you know, please get in touch with me!

Just some of the lovely VIP fashion bloggers from last Saturday are below (from left to right): Me from A LA MODEST – Yetunde from Sew Urbane – Cathlee from Stylz By Kattz – Trisha Renee from Fashion According to the Menu – Kesha Abigail from Styled By Kesha - Angelique Michelle from Iconiq – Maira from Needles and Fashion

Last Saturday (November 8) was a busy day for me! I taught at the gym in the morning, hung out at Boulevard of Chic in the afternoon, then had to rush home to cook for the BmorePaleo meetup potluck that night near DC.

I can’t believe this is the third Boulevard of Chic event this year! The fact that the event hosts are able to have this three times a year means only one thing—SUCCESS! I’m so honored to have been part of each one right from the beginning.

What is Boulevard of Chic? If you haven’t seen my first and second posts covering the past BOC events, it is a local fashion shopping celebration in downtown Baltimore. It is the first ever fashion truck event of its kind, which is pretty cool. No longer is the monopoly on the food trucks!

I got to meet and reconnect with fellow fashion bloggers around the MD/VA/DC area, and at the same time shop from and get to know local artists and vendors.

I can’t wait for the next BOC. Would love to keep in touch with these girls in between events!
