Wedding whishes with calligraphy

I’m really having fun experimenting calligraphy and combining this beautiful art with the delicate and sweet atmosphere full of expectation, dream and love that always a wedding brings with it.

Here’s some image of the final work.

I was asked to prepare a special greeting card for the bride and groom and I suggested to make two separate pieces, one composed by the card with a personalized greeting phrase and the other by a biblical passage, both calligraphed by hand and embellished with handmade envelopes and a paper flower.

Both the bride and groom’s friends were very happy with the result… What more could I ask for?

Hope this it’s only the beginning of many other calligraphed works for weddings! Read: Yes, I am available for commissions! :)

Mi sono divertita parecchio a sperimentare con la calligrafia e a combinare questa bellissima arte con l’atmosfera delicata e dolce che i matrimoni portano sempre con se.

E qualche immagine del lavoro finito (purtroppo scattata al volo – frustate sui ditini, non si fa, non prendete esempio).

Mi era stato chiesto di preparare un biglietto di auguri speciale per gli sposi e ho suggerito di fare due pezzi separati, uno comporto dal biglietto con un messaggio d’auguri personalizzato e l’altro da un passo biblico, entrambi calligrafati a mano e abbelliti da buste su misura e un fiore di carta abbinato, anch’essi artigianali.

Sia gli sposi che gli amici che li hanno commissionati sono stati felici del risultato… Cosa chiedere di più?

Spero sia solo l’inizio di tanti altri lavori per altri sposini!
