White’s Mercantile

Not only is Holly Williams an accomplished musician (who just so happens to be related to country music royalty — ahem, her grandfather is Hank Williams), but she also has her finger on the pulse of emerging fashion, interior design and the culinary world. A woman of many talents poised with style and grace, you’re able to shop her curated selections at H. Audrey in Green Hills or at her latest venture, White’s Mercantile, which pays respect to her mother’s grandfather who owned and operated a mercantile in Mer Rouge, Louisiana.

Housed in an old gas station that was formerly an architecture firm, Holly’s now claimed the white building and filled it to the brim with local to regional goods from a broad range of artisans. Described as ‘a general store for the modern day taste maker,’ you’ll find an assortment of items such as antiques from her trips abroad, must-have coffee table books, a variety of grocery products, table top accents and dozens of other items falling under this new age general store concept.

If you’re in town, set your sights on 12 South this weekend. Grab a bite to eat at Josephine, fill up a growler at The Filling Station and then wander down the street to White’s for a plethora of items to outfit your abode. Who knows, maybe you’ll even see Holly there arranging new pieces and able to lend you some shopping wisdom.
