The hog of the forsaken, well, he ain't like you and I

G and I are obsessed with the show Deadwood. It's fair to say that it's the best TV show ever , better than sliced bread, better than glitter, and even better than fabularse frocks! (Is that blasphemy? The bit about the frocks?!) The set and costume design are outstanding, the cast and script mind blowing!!! I think Calamity Jane is my favourite character, and she has inspired a great deal of cocksucker-ing in our household. But I also adore Al Swearengen, and I rather like Alma Garret, Trixie and E.B. Farnams funny little cook Richardson (who reminds me of a fellow at work we call The Ferret). If you haven't seen this show, DO! Sadly, there were only 3 seasons made; it became too expensive to continue. This was before Mad Men came along and caused a splendid saturation of period TV shows, dammit!
Anyways. G and I have been re-watching it all again, slowly, savouring every morsel....... Between Christmas Day and New Year we had a great deal of torrential rain. When I was sleeping, G and I watched quite a bit of it, and I was inspired, when we had a break in the weather, to frock up as Deadwood style as I could manage.
