Just a tainted bird hurting their twisted nerve

We had a public holiday last Thursday, which meant it would be a great idea for G and I to take the Friday morning off and have a 4 day weekend!!! Naturally, we took that idea and ran with it. We popped up to Kaikoura to visit our friends Dave and Jana, spending one night with them and another at The Pier Hotel...romantic getaway, y'know......

One of my favourite things to do is to cook with friends, and Jana and I work well together in the kitchen. We spent a lovely afternoon whipping up this Indian feast (butter chicken, saag gosht, golden egg curry and chick pea flour pancakes) which took us about 20 minutes to demolish! I'm personally quite impressed with our success considering the amount of bubbles and red wine we consumed, not to mention the incessant yapping! Multi tasking. Must be good at it!
