Wood Grains

It's back to pants for today's post. As much as my island girl side would like to stick to my ye old denim cutoffs or work entails us to suit up and leave them behind.

Took out my classic black and white pieces and added a pop of color with my bag. Instead of going for a plain collared shirt I got to wear this one with a black pipping. Gave my simple piece a twist without scaring my office mates away. haha

So, I strategically placed myself in front of these unpainted wooden structures for my look to stand out. I like that it showed off the wood grains. Like my look it's rich in details without going crazy. Don't you think?

Much like interiors, I think these grains adds a certain rustic and unfinished charm. Despite it's unpolished look they certainly add a lot of character even if everything else is simple. May it be found in small scaled items like in side or center tables or in larger scales like accent walls or shelves.

Wishing I had more wood like pieces at my place. :)
