Sweater Beats Releases One Of His Strongest Songs To Date With “Cloud City” : Future Bass / Chill-Trap

New York's rising future-bass producer Sweater Beats has been holding his own lately. TSIS has premiered his Diplo & Friends mix and Toddla T mix as well as his unreal remixes of Flume & Chet Faker's "Drop The Game" and Snakehips "Days With You" among others. Now, set to release his biggest project to date, the upcoming Cloud City EP on HW&W Recordings (home to the equally notable Kytranada and Stwo), Sweater Beats has given us a taste of what's to come with the album's title track.

"Cloud City" demonstrates the New York producer's unique ability to smoothly combine multiple layers of sound. Flume comes to mind with the use of tight drums and sharp cymbals; but Sweater Beats shows off his own distinct flare with a melody of choppy synths that turn up the energy and bring urgency to the peak of the composition. As always, the time and effort put into Sweater Beats tracks is apparent. "Cloud City" is upbeat, making you feel almost as if you were living in the Cloud City level in a Super Mario Bros game.

Cloud City EP is set to release on October 28th for free (submit your email here to have the EP sent directly to you on release day). For now, enjoy the first taste and stream the track below!
