Vriendlief schreef er al een artikel over en na 5 maanden gebruik ben ik ook klaar met mijn overduidelijke mening: ik kan niet meer zonder mijn Clarisonic. De meningen over dit toch wel dure apparaat zijn heel verdeeld; op MakeupAlly krijgt ‘ie een 4.3/5, Youtube staat vol met zowel positieve als negatieve reviews, en ik ken menig Belgisch blogger die de Clarisonic liefst van al ver uit het raam zou willen gooien. Maar ik dus niet. Ik ben – en dat mag je letterlijk nemen – verslaafd aan dit ding. Gezien het feit dat Tom ook nog elke 3 maanden een nieuw borsteltje koopt, zou ik durven beweren dat hij ook niet meer zonder kan.

The opinions on this rather expensive device are very divided, on MakeupAlly it receives a 4.3/5, Youtube is full of positive and negative reviews, and I know many Belgian bloggers who preferably throw the Clarisonic out of the window. But I do not. I am – and you can take that literally – addicted to this thing. Given the fact that Tom also buys a new brush every 3 months, I would dare to say that he’s addicted as well.
Ondertussen bestaat de Clarisonic bijna 15 jaar en komt hij vaak in lijstjes terug – zo ook in de “50 must-buy beauty products“-list. Mijn mening is ondertussen gekend en mocht mijn Clari het begeven, ik koop onmiddellijk een nieuwe. Ik heb een poging ondernomen om af te kicken, maar dan krijg ik binnen de week weer last van meer onzuiverheden. Dit apparaat doet z’n werk echt goed. Na het reinigen gebruik ik altijd tonic. In het pre-Clarisonic tijdperk zat er altijd nog wat foundation op het watje. Nu: nada, niets. Mijn huid is écht gereinigd en dag -en nachtcrème worden beter opgenomen. Alleen spijtig dat je hem nogal vaak moet opladen (zeker met twee gebruikers in huis); zeker één dag in de week moet ‘ie in het stopcontact. Maar dat nemen we er graag bij. Kopen? Ja!

This device does its job really well. After cleaning I always use tonic. In the pre-Clarisonic era there was still foundation on the cotton ball. Now: nada, nothing. My skin is really clean, and day and night cream absorbs better. The only downside is that you have to charge it quite often (especially with two users at home), this means one day a week. But I do not complain. Buy it? Yes!
