Lazy Day Dressing: Comfortable and Classy

During the rainy season, I think you will all agree with me when I stress how much of a struggle it is to dress up everyday as it is to wake up in the morning. I mean, who smiles at the thought of being woken up at 6 a.m. while still wrapped up in the comforting hug of your duvet, only to look out the window and see a gloomy sky? Certainly not me. But the real world calls upon us and most of us don't really have a choice. How will you lazy dress your way through this day without looking sloppy?

Two things: comfortable and classy. That's essentially what you want to achieve when it comes to putting together an outfit for a gloomy day. And for instances like this, I like turning to my basics because they give me an easy way out without compromising aesthetic.

A nice loose cotton dress like this one from Ezra Basics is an easy slip-on dress that doesn't need much. Pine green is such an elegant color that I'm quite obsessing with as of the moment. Plus, the neckline highlights all that needs to be highlighted - shoulders and collarbones. It does all the trick in making me look 10x more put-together in just a couple of minutes! Add a belt to give it more shape or let it loose for a more easy-going vibe.

How do you conquer lazy day dressing and what are your go-to pieces as of late? :)
