31DC13 Day 26: Inspired by a pattern

It's almost two months since I posted my last challenge mani, oops! So it's about time to post another one, so that I can maybe even some day finish this challenge... Today's task was about pattern and my inspiration came from a chewing gum package.
Katjamaria, Misify and I did couple different nail art and make-up looks for one of our meet sponsors, Cloetta. Katjamaria did the make up part and me and Misify did those nail art parts. I thought this would work perfectly as my pattern inspiration manicure since I took the inspiration from the patterns in that chewing gum package.
These gum-nails that I'm showing you today were inspired by one of the two Jenkki novelty flavors, Raspberry Sorbet. These chewing gums are actually quite fun, they look like candy and I quite liked these raspberry ones, though I have to say that the another flavor was my favourite, but I'll tell you more about that in another post. ;)
I used IsaDora Bon Bon, Kiko Sugar Mat Hot Pink and Essie Go Ginza for these nails. Since I wanted the dots to go from lighter pink to darker pink I also mixed the middle color from Bon Bon and Hot Pink, though that kinda turned out a bit more dark pink than I would have wanted. So the base color in my index finger is Bon Bon and the stripes are done with Hot Pink and the mix of Hot Pink and Bon Bon. In my pinky nail the base color is the Kiko one and the stripes are done with Bon Bon and the mixed one. In my middle and ring finger nails the base color is Essie Go Ginza and the dots are done with both of the texture polish and the mixed one, of course using a dotting tool. Those stripes I painted with a nail art brush.
This didn't really turn out like I planned it, but still I liked this manicure quite a lot. This ended up being quite fun and bright look and I'd say the inspiration is quite obvious. The other two girls also posted their gorgeous raspberry sorbet looks already, so you can check out Misify's raspberry nails here and Katjamaria's raspberry sorbet look here.
My pattern inspired mani two years ago was the same one that I also did as fashion inspired as well as artwork inspired mani. You can check out the post here.

Disclosure: I have originally gotten IsaDora Bon Bon for review, the other polishes used in this post I have bought myself. This manicure is done for our meet sponsor, so the chewing gums were also sent for us because of this. For more information view my disclosure policy.

Inspiraatio kynsiin on siis luonnollisesti saatu tuosta uutuuspurkkapussista, jonka makuna on Raspberry Sorbet.

*IsaDoran Bon Bon on saatu alunperin arvioitavaksi. Purkkamanikyyri on toteutettu Cloettalle miittisponsoroinnin tiimoilta ja luonnollisesti myös postauksessa esiintyvät purkat on saatu tätä tarkoitusta varten.
