Color Code / Blush

There’s something about this soft, muted pink that can instantly make a girl feel at home. Maybe it’s the ballerina association from early stages of life. I’m sure many girls can relate. Without question, I had to have the light pink tutu, tights, and leotard. I remember being at the dance store as a five year old with my mom shopping for Danskin gear and marveling at the selection, wondering why anyone in their right mind would choose black or ivory over blush ballerina garb. But even as an adult, this shade is every bit as relevant. Still feminine, only now it’s all grown-up and can be done as softly or as structured as you’d like (Olivia Pope coat? Yes, please). It’s every bit as neutral as any gray or beige, but just a touch more celebratory.
