I’ve never been one to really crave summer. Maybe it’s because I love Fall so much with all the layering and the leather, and winter in LA is hardly any different than the rest of the year as far as the weather goes. But what you can’t get in the other 3 seasons is the summer mentality, where the days are longer, the drinks are colder, and the fashion is easier. It’s a season to take things one step at a time and not overthink it. For that, we can definitely welcome summer with a round of applause. Memorial Day weekend isn’t the “official” start to summer, but who’s counting? So I hope you all kick back this long weekend, and switch out your closets to summer mode because it’s {basically} here. I also want to take a moment for all the men and women who have served our country and families who have lost loved ones in the service. This is a damn good country to come from, and it’s because of them that we’re able to enjoy our free lifstyle in the summertime, and every time. We are so lucky, so thank you all.
